I am a welder/fabricator so it's no big deal to cut a hole and make a fitting.

it probably is too short but you can easily make a longer test pipe like on my car

I recieved my TSI kit today. Its pretty nice. Its pretty much a semi hacker kit. You need to beef up the fuel system somemore and get a BOV. Im putting in a Walbro 255 intake pump. I just need to find out which one to put in 2G eclipse or EVO. Im hoping that this will be all i need for the fuel system. I purchased an intercooler for it also. Im looking at running 6psi intercooled The manfold is pretty nice and high flowing. Its a light rough inside it but. Im ceramic coating the manifold and exhaust piping. Most likely ill be putting it on next weekend at my shop.

Why get a walbro 255? It's overkill for your needs. Get a 2g DSM FP for 40-60 bucks. Hell, walbro 255 is still overkill to mild mod DSMs using 14b or T25 not shooting toward HP figures of a small 16G..

Its pretty much the same as the EVO's stock manifold. Four shorty pipes going into the collector. Its more of a casting than built turbo header. But it flows pretty good. I'll try to get some pics if i can get ahold of the camera at the shop.

i also have this kit, there is no place for the 1st O2 sensor, so a bung is gonna need to be welded either on the down pipe or manifold

any pics of inside the manifold yet?

i think there was a thread where they had the tsi vs rrm nonIC and the tsi sped off the line and the rrm pulled up top. big difference in turbos. if that's any comparison.

I have some pics... but my camera and my comp aren't getting along. The inside of the manifold is hard to get pics of, but I can try... It is a rough cast manifold and there is really nothing special about it other than the t25 attatched to it . I was thinking about porting it to atleast smooth out the casting.

There was a thread a while back that raced the RRM non-IC versus TSI non-IC. The TSI kit won off the line because it spools quicker (T-25 vs. Big T-28), but the RRM kit caught up quickly and won the race.
