Did you take the exhaust manifold off the engine? You should take it off the engine then bolt it up to the turbo piping. Then take the whole assembly and put it back onto the engine as a whole. I think that it would make it easier and my guess is because its not bolt up to the mani that it looks like it will hit but it really won't. Try that.

you should remove the header... install everything out of the car... then drop the header back into the car as a whole turbo assembly. The instructions should say this as i wrote them and know it's in there.

I Just came from his house... stupid header bolt in that corner almost stripped so we didn't play with it... all thats left is the oil pan, the turbo set up, and the piping

Would have had it like 90% done, but its hard to get tools you need when you always have to improvise, and also Marc here forgot half of his oil pan at RRM...hahah

yea we got the inercooler on, piping done, turbo assembly is on, but i accidently left the lower oil pan at rrm and also i cant get the hex screw off of the block. tomorrow im gonna try impact gun, but the bolt looks pretty solid so hopefully it wont bust.

heres where we're at so far:
