I need some help with RRM turbo install.

Im at the part where i just bolted together the wastegate, the up pipe, downpipe to the turbo and i tried to drop it into the car and i cant get it to fit onto the header. It looks like theres something in the way. heres the pics so you can see what i mean. (im guessing i put it together wrong, but it looks right)

No, you haven't put it together wrong. You need to take that bracket off and keep the bolt that hold that bracket to the engine out too. That should free up the space you need.

nope, take that off completely and leave it off. Including the bolt that mounts it to the engine. On mine, that bracket is off and so is the bolt. It will be fine without it and it should free up the space you need.

but why? why on earth would you do such a thing? it just doesn't make sense, and isn't it a tad dangerous? i think i remember something about the stock manifold keeping too much heat or being far to restrictive for turbo that is causes problems

probably, but i dont have the money right this minute to buy it.

heres my second problem. i took the bracket off, but it looks like the wastegate is hitting my lower mount. heres the pic. is the wastegate on the right way? it said to point the vent tube down so im guessing its the way i have it:
