anyone from RRm or otherwise have a soundbyte of the RRM turbo on the US lancer? I cant wait to get one. I have to get suspension to handle first which is coming in the next week or so after exams. I want to hear what one sounds like, i heard that custom one that mark killed, it didnt' sound to healthy wondering if RRM sounds better

 

I'll be posting a few vids hopefully tonight or this weekend of my lancer with RRM stage 2. I'll be posting them on my car club's website but I'll put a link to them here on the boards so everyone can check them out. Sound is awesome, and my camera is pretty good at picking up the sound so it should turn out good!

I got my wastegate re-circulation tube done yesterday, car is soooo quiet now, lol
with just my AEM CAI it was prob twice as loud... o well...
I guess I have to put my RRM Testpipe on now

I've been so busy lately, getting married next weekend! I have a show to go to this weekend but I will definitly have time to get a nice video clip. I want to get one this weekend since my car's all clean for the show. I'll have it up saturday night or sunday morning definitly.

 

jus outta curiousity, do u have a rrm turbo? cause i thought u cant have a cold air intake AND a turbo....or am i wrong, i could be wrong cause im jus learning about turbos, but im sure im right

 

The Intercooled turbo has the CAI, atleast mine has one. I think the RRM automatic version might have an SRI. But either way, it's still sucking air no matter what it is.

 

no hes just saying that when he had a cold air intake it was louder than what his car is with the wastegate recirc. even tho that doesn't make any sense becuase the two sounds are completely unrelated. go stage 2 and you have an intake sound 15 times manlier than any intake you will ever hear on our cars.

its always hard to hear the turbo on video, but in reality its nice and sexy!
