u wanna tap it above where the oil sits, that way it can drain onto the oil inside the pan and not have to push the oil into the pan. if u tap it in the black, think about it, there is 2-4 quarts of oil(weight) sitting in that area, your return line isnt gonna wanna drain into that. tapping in the black would be like blocking your return line, and from what i hear, YOU DO NOT wanna do that, lol.

Btw, about the tapping the oil pan, you said tap the silver part instead of the black...or it doesn't really matter? I see people tapping their return line into the black part.
Well those people are doing it wrong. You need to tap the pan and have the return line ABOVE where oil is going to sit in the pan. The silver part where RRM suggests is above the oil level, this more effective oil draining and flow.

yes. they run straight garrett GTR turbos so you could opt to just purchase one here stateside if it's cheaper. if you do, spend extra cash on a gt28r on stock internals, or RPW's gt30r hybrid on built internals.

I doubt that im going to get an answer, but where can i buy a 4g63? A new one, not some crappy 60,000 mile engine out of a galant or eclipse or something. Or at least one out or an evo 8.

P.s. and has anybody heard any stories about lancers with 4g63 engines (evo clones)?

obviously your paying for it when you buy the AEM EMS, but would I be able to survive on RRM Piggyback with the Controller Software instead? Or should I just suck it up, take the hit, and fork out the cash? Cuz id rather do this right the first time then regret the piggyback and back track to the EMS?
