RRE TURBO

I EMAIL THEM AND THIS WHAT THEY HAVE TO SAY.

I am Rob Tallini from RoadRace. We are planning a whole line of stuff for
the Lancer. Under the gun for SEMA we made one offs and are currently
gearing up for production on numerous items. We are also going to do
installed turbos for Lancers until we are decide the best kit to offer.
Check back in 2-3 weeks. Thanks Rob

Don't be so upset. If any of you guys want a turbo "kit" for your lancer, RRE is the place to buy it from. Tallini is also one of RRE's drivers.

I'm also surprised that RRE is doing a "kit". They ususally do custom setups, so be very thankful. This is the best shop you guys could possibly get support from... trust me! It's worth the wait guys!

greddy turbo

Thanks for your interest in GReddy Products. We are still looking over the
new Lancer at this time. We have not decided what or if we will produce any
items yet. But if we do it will most likely be an exhaust system first.
But I will definitely pass on your request. Thank you for your email. Please keep in touch with your favorite Authorized Greddy dealer for more updates. http://greddy.com/dealers/

Don't waste your money. You will have to take it out for the turbo kit.

Does any one know how much possible horse power you may get with these turbo kits?? I have another question and it may sound stupid( i dont know much about engines ) . I was wondering to add a turbo kit to a OZ rally or any car for that matter, does it has to be a manual drive or can it be automatic?
-------I just started checking out this forum and its been really helpful in me getting a insight to the OZ Rally and its potential, thanks,,

Forced induction and transmissions are mutually exclusive (nothing to do with each other). I'm not sure why you would want a turbo on an automatic though, since you are likely to lose some of the quality powerband.

I heard that RRE isgoing to do installs for now and that installed it is around $3600 with front mount.
Seems right considering Doug's Dyno get $3000 for a box of stuff with a sidemount, not installed!

Sounds about right. They will probably start out by doing installs on some local cars first, then they'll go from there.

Here's what Mike W had to do in order to install the DDP turbo kit in a 2000+ Eclipse GS 2.4L 4 banger:

I read in the forum that they are going to be doing turbo installs..... I would really like a turbo install on my lancer. Along with many other upgrades... thanks...
