Echoing what some people said before, it's really hard to interpret the numbers when we really don't know what's been done to this car.

hell those are amazing numbers for a lancer. didnt RRM top out at like 298 hp or something in a manual? and they built up the internals too. I cant wait for the turbo for the 2004. will that be able to push those numbers as well? anyways, excellent work and excellent numbers, gives me hope for my auto.

SC's have a bypass valve that works similiar to a turbo's bov. Different in the fact that it will open under low throttle to relieve the boost pressure. Thus you only make the boost when you're heavier into the throttle. You could be at 3% throttle and 6k rpm and still won't be sending boost into the motor.

However a turbo will achieve better gas mileage than an SC due to compressor efficiency and turbine drive characteristics(ie: SC is belt driven putting load on motor all the time... TC is exhaust driven using wasted forces from the motor that would have gone out the tailpipe anyway.)

Now back to topic...

I've talked with rabbit a few times... i've talked more to "Godspeed" his local installer. Rabbit doesn't want to sit on the forums going back and forth with some of the things that happen here.

Instead he is just "Happy" that he has the most powerful auto lancer out there. If he posts on here all that will happen is question after question... pm after pm... all to end up with saying he has the RRM stage 2 setup. Supporting mods... everything you could think of basically... IM, TB, Fuel rail, header, test pipe, 2.25 exhaust... think that about covers it.

He's not a big fan of this forum... or any other in fact. He just used this forum to gain knowledge of the kit so he could make a decision on buying it. His post was made to support RRM's products and show... WITH OUT ANY DOUBT that he is...

The Most Powerful Auto Lancer in Existance!!

What happened to greenpsycho. Should he be the first to respond to this thread?

Rabbit is a little older. I asked him why he doesn't post. Basically, now that his car is done he is just enjoying it and does really look for info here too much or look for approval either.

i don't blame him, it can get hectic on here, and it can get pushy for updates and answers. once i finished my car i'd do the same, post the results then get outta here.

Greenpsycho was banned from evom for the month. If you want an idea of why he was banned and who initiated it, go to:

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...6&page=5&pp=15

As for the result in this thread, having a partial list of mods 3rd hand is better than nothing. Knowing exactly what rabbit meant by "We worked on the car over and over..." would be even better. Boe, is the the person you referenced before who had cams?

OK if I (having a 2004 OZ auto) get the turbo kit when it comes out, and have the exact same setup as the 2003, do you THINK that it will put out more/less/equal power? I know you can't know this yet, but I'm just wondering since its got the returnless fuel thing difference.

Yeup... he's going bigger and badder via rpw. I'm not sure he'll post his results afterwards but i know he'll do even better. RPW's turbo stuff is well proven.

As far as worked over and over... he had some issues with his MAS sensor. It took us a while to figure it out but i worked directly with his tuner and from that his tuner was able to get it figured out and tuned to his area/gas.

Also RRM piggy isn't like others so tuning on it needed to be dealt with differently.

Should be the same... returnless fuel system isn't going to effect the power output its effecting how RRM will tune the car. I think you'll find the 04 kit will provide even more power than expected...

I can't say much more than that as RRM would kill me for it... i can say that the kit will be redesigned a lot. Keep your eyes posted as it's due for release soon.
