Any new info on fuel controller?

Right now ive got a 03 lancer w/ the tsi kit and im running a FMU on it right now with 7psi. It works well but i want to find a piggyback system that i can use to fine tune the with injectors. I've read alot on the forums about the apexi and e-manage not working well. Alot of people keep saying the ECU remaps it self over the controllers and returns to stock settings. From your guys experience, which system works the best? (e-manage, ultimate e-manage, apexi afc or something else)

Never worked with Emanage but I can speak for the AFC. At least with my Mirage, there were no problems whatsoever with the AFC unit and tuning. the horror tuning issues were user error (some idiot who owned the car thought he was the tuning God without a dyno or a wideband) and a minor problem I had in the beginning. Perhaps someone with experience with the Emanage can post here.

For a just basic kit will upgrade later, what are the bare minimum fuel upgrades i have to do to run 7 psi or boost? Do i need any electronics? I have an 04 lancer. I know fuel pump. With the fuel pump do i need a 255 or can i just us a 190?

You have a 04!! I has a non return fuel system. Use a 255 its amost the same $$ as the 190. You may have to run a inline pump instead of intank if your going to run an FMU or FPR.

eManage works fine on FI cars... but you need to buy the additional injector harness if i remmeber correctly... In fact it seems to be working fine in N/A apps now as well... seems the problems were solved
