Bad>Good>Bad news for me...

Hmm, I'll start with bad news . Well I found out this morning that someone stoled my Craftman tools (a carrying case with 130 sets) .

Good news is that my car is up running again. I rewired my Zt-2 wideband wirings and used a soldering gun this time . I found out that the RPM output wire wasn't really connected; that's why my car would barely start a week ago.

Then! I noticed while my car was idling, I see smoke coming out between the o2 housing and the downpipe. It's because I didn't tighten the bolts enough (took off the dp and took to a muffler shop to install the a/f o2 bung). But like I said, someone stole my tools, so now I can't even tighten those freakin bolts.

So my wideband isn't reading accurate due the exhaust leak. I might have to wait until Monday and drive it to my school and use their tools instead.

Well I don't have a garage, but I have a carport/canopy. I was just tired to put it away because I was going to use it the next day. It was under the car and I even had more stuff laying around. (Bought the tools on sale a price of $99.)

Mods: Sorry for the OT:

Well I was eager to find out my a/f ratio since I changed my fuel pump. But it's not something I need to worry a lot. I'll fix it tomorrow .

I usually just throw all the schtuff laying around into my car so I don't have to drag it back and forth. In the trunk is the best, or in the back seat with a blanket covering it.

I had my entire turbo kit laying in the trunk of the Lancer while I was taking it apart. That would have totally sucked if someone broke in and stole it.

If you have renters or homeowners insurance they might be able to cover it.

Yeah. Just sucks that I don't have any tools (but hopefully Christmas ).

Well I already fixed the leak . I'm actually running around 11.5 afr at boost. So it's a relief for me since I was running so lean (18.1 ) last time I checked.

Oh no, while I was taking a break from wiring my wideband, I took off my downpipe and took it to the muffler shop to weld the o2 bung. After the wirings, I installed the downpipe then fire her up and found out that I didn't found I didn't enough tighten the bolts and it caused a leak.

Anyways, there wasn't wrong with the FMU, I had a bad fuel pump (just like your issue before lol). But I still have to replace my FMU since I took it apart, especially the valve body .
