It sux compared to stock when your mashing on it all the time. It rules when your just cruising. I actually put almost 400 miles on one tank going from SD to LA and Back then back towards LA! All the way i just locked it in cruise. Around town when i'm always getting on it and showing off i get like 180 miles to a tank. Simply though you give to get and when you get your happy My car is a fu@#ing animal right now. Monsterious Power... almost uncontrollable down low!

I've squeezed only 180 out of tank NA. That's scary.

If you're driving under boost (especially in the higher rpms) expect your mileage to get really ****ty really fast.

Jeezus, Andrew. On average I get at least 350. I'd have to try pretty hard to dip below 300, cuz I do a ton of highway driving.

I'm curious to see what average mileage is as well for turbos, especially with low boost.

I must brag here, though I have no turbo, last Nov. I drove to Vegas, put 365 miles on one tank of gas. Cruise set at 70mph the whole way. When I was about 1 mile from my bro's apt. I stopped and gased up, my needle was just starting to hit the "E" on my gauge. Usually there's about 1 1/2-2 gallons still in the tank, which is good for another 30-40 miles.

Date PPG Miles MPG

2/3/2003 1.459 375.9 28.47727273

I've got a log going, and that's the best I've managed. Mods being intake + test pipe + exhaust.

Closest I've gotten to a true empty was somewhere in the neighborhood of a 12.6 gallon fillup. I was on empty, drove to Portland, found parking, and drove back.

I don't NORMALLY get that little, but most of my driving is stop and go and I guess I was having a rough week and really pushing her with no highway miles. Normally I get around 220-240 on 3/4 tank or so.

I do a ton of stop and go cause of going to school, I only get about 200 when the needle is about to hit E, but when I take trips I get about 100 miles per tick on the gas guage easy when cruising at 70-80.

just to add my two cents! I don't have turbo yet but recently did a road trip from Austin, tx to fort lauderdale , fl. I was stopping to get gas when my tank hit 1/4. I was normally 320 miles or so from the last fill up so I'm assuming I could go about 400-430 on a full tank of gas.

currently my car has no mods cept for a K-bar, which hasn't impacted gas too much, maybe my tires from turning on a dime.. but not my gas =)

Chances are you should be running a higher octane anyway if you're running boost, but it should effect mpg.

Hobies right.....my gas mileage just plain sucks. Mines been sitting parked for over 2 weeks. I have to put premium in and it is like 2.16/gal when I last filled her up. And Believe me that was the last time. Now Im just driving the other gas guzller around 99 explorer (yeah like thats any better) geeze you just cant win.
