exhaust leak......assistance needed

so some of u may of heard about my bov incident the about a week ago, well my luck got worse...

so what happened was i was at the dealership getting my exhaust leak fixed and they couldnt finish it the same day so they were gonna have it done the next day and then i came the next day and overnight or after hrs, someone stole my GReddy Type-S BOV, so the dealership was gonna pay for it, but the parts guy was a idiot and couldnt do the job right so I did it myself and they were gonna reimburse me so, I got a new BOV from Road Race which is a GReddy Type-RS bov remodified, so its re-circulated. I dont think it works that great but Boe is lookin into it for me.

so i get my car back and not even 20kms later my car is slower and louder, ding ding ding, EXHAUST LEAK!!! Now my car is wicked loud! I cannot believe that gasket blew not even 2hrs after its been in my car! My car doesnt even boost to like 2psi, its bad, its like a torquey N/A lol.

I went to a tuning shop and they said reason for this was b/c the gasket wasnt flush, overtime the header and up pipe coulda warped a lil so its not a complete flat surface and they shoulda done was machined it down so they were even. They also recommened a copper gasket and was surprised that RRM didnt supply one.

So, Heres the question,

#1 > why does RRM only sell mitsubishi gasket for there turbo's when they know its gonna blow?

#2 > how do i prevent this from happening again?
a) can i weld it shut??
b) should i jus get copper gaskets and do that, but then once i get the LSD they have to take the assembly off AGAIN and it could possibly be another issue again.

#3 > should i call my dealership and complain, cause i bet they'll bring it back in and do it again for free or should i go somewhere else that tuning shop was gonna take me but my car could be there for like 2-3 days which sucks.

Only issue i am concerned w/ the welding thing is that, I have that trick where u weld the wastegate to the up pipe or whatever so its quiet......will that screw me over somehow??

Weld the ****er shut. No gasket can beat that. You'll be set for life!

And no, having your wastegate circ into your downpipe won't hurt anything.

^reason i said not to weld it is because he's gonna be putting in LSD and its just gonna be hearder to do with everything welded together...

otherwise put lsd in and weld in one shot

IVE HAD THE SAME PROBLEMS!!!! goto a local parts store and pick up a gasket for the 1.8L Mirage or somthing like that....same size and everything....the gasket that brought out was nice and think and made of metal meterial....clamps down very nice and no leaks after that. dont weld...cause what if u need to take somthing off at a later date?? just go find a nice thiink metalic gasket...pretty sure it was for a Mirage just dont rember the exact year etc.

well i talked to road race and the said u can take off the entire turbo assembly and since my wastegate piece is welded to the downpipe to get rid of that ricey sound, they said un-do the wastegate and then u can pull out the assembly

im a getting copper gasket by turbotechnics from a tuning shop here, so hopefully but i was talking to this guy who works at best buy w/ me and he used to be a welder and he said u might be able to get something to get rid of the ceramic coating in that section jus to weld it, that true??? Its jus cause its such a ***** to get this done...rather fix it once and be done w/ it u know?
