exactly..
The shop said it feels really near or at 200hp.. cause they drove the other non-ic kit and tuned it (the 211whp one).. so all I need is a good tune, etc.. I have the RRM header, test pipe, magnaflow catback, low resistance wires, etc.. so I shouldn't be far off. I will be sure to post pix and the dyno graph when I get it tuned. =)

buying a used evo is like marrying a hooker. you might be happy for a while but you knows it's been beat like hell. There is no way you will know exactly how the person treated it and given the performance nature of the car its safe to assume its been driven very very hard. not to mention clutch and transfer case issues.

I'm hoping for 220 whp @ stage 2 9 psi. I've pulled on my friends mopar stage 1 SRT-4 on the freeway, and they claim like 230 on those. I'll be happy if i can put down a solid 220 whp 220 wtq.

It might just be a boost difference. As far as we know wiretap is boosting 7 or 8 psi on his non-intercooled kit because he's running on high octane, we just don't know.

Wait a lil longer and get yourself an evo, I was in the same situation as you but with a 3rd gen Eclipse w/custom turbo, waste of money! I sold my eclipse, bought a new 05 evo, spent a lil over $2,500 on power mods and now achieved 352whp on 91 with stock turbo, the possibilities are endless!

why dont you evo guys buy a mercedes bez AMG 660 CL with 720tq 640 hp from the factory then. why dont you buy a bigger house, or why dont you realize some people here are young and dont have the income to buy an evo yet. why dont you act like a grown up and realize some people are not on that financial lv.i know some bmw m3's and proche that could eat you in 1/4 and on a track, but guess what im sure they might be out of your price range huh? oh you have evo 8 huh, sucks the guys with evo 9's dont dog how your cars are not as good as theirs huh? maybe you'd know it it feels. i sure did wish an guy with an evo 9 would come dog some of you guys. think its easy, we have goals in life not to work just for a car, but support a family like one member said.

anyway im sure he meant 200 crank hp seeing he intially didnt put whp next to the #.
