EPS Turbo Kit

I tried searching, but with no luck. My buddy is looking to purchase this and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this turbo kit?

From what i hear the kit is pretty good for the price and the only problem is that it has a down pipe that is alittle too short so people have ghetto rigged it by putting a few gaskets (around 2 or 3) in there and it bolts right up. One of the only other downfalls with the kit is that alot of the piping, as you can see, is not metal they use quite a bit of rubber ppiping but i havent heard that being a problem but that one of the things that people point out when they comepare this kit to rrm's. But overall not a bad kit and i was talking to a guy that was cranking the boost way up on this kit and everything held us pretty good accept for his pistons that is...

Kind of expensive for the TSI kit if you ask me. You can find cheaper online. The TSI kit is the best bang for the buck for anyone with the slightest mechanical ability. It requires some fabrication, but nothing out of a generally skilled person's ability. I'm picking up the TSI non intercooled kit in about 2 months and custom intercooling it. Just recieved the intercooler today. Ebay special 18x6.5x2.5 with 2.5 inlet and outlet. Overall nice interooler, custom pipe kit should arrive early next week then i can start mocking up the piping to the throttle body and towards the general area of the turbo. Cant wait Slowly its all coming together

Thats the same thing i did!! I purchased the non ic tsi kit and mocked up my own ic kit. You do have to purchase a few extra parts still. Like a fuel pump, and BOV. Thats about the right price for the ic TSI kit!!!

The kit comes with a BOV unless it isn't a reliable one, do you think he should purchase another one? So I guess he will need to order a fuel pump too.

If you go with the base kit non ic they dont come with a BOV. Plus the plastic black BOV are crap. Get greddy or HKS. The non ic kit up grades fuel by a FMU. It raises the fuel pressure and the stock pump cant handle the xtra psi. Get a walbro 255.
