To answer your question no. In time YES. Are you interested in upgrading to an RPW turbo kit sweet_bucket22?

While I'm not deleting SOME of the posts, I'm going to say this - stop attacking Accolade in this thread. If you have a problem, stay OUT of vendor threads unless you have a valid question or piece of information.

Its all good this is why formal discussion of the group buy is on our boards... All this was predicted because this is how the other camp acts...

i still havent gotten an answer nor anything close as to how much we would be saving in a group buy, this kind of information would help sway me and possibly others

1st of all when you are sponsered you can get 450whp lancer. because you pretty much have free parts, and free tuning. ie: ams 993 awhp evo.

i dont expect super speed with this kit. so the gt t thing is no big deal. im just excited there are some other turbo's out there to explore that are cheaper than the lead turbo vendor.

id like to state/ask if this is a accolade tubro or a rpw turbo. if its rpw turbo is it not true that they are very solid turbo's already?

i dunno....each to there own i guess....

i like to make it clear, its not that i dont like accolade cause i am sporting there kit and i was one of the 1st ppl w/ there kit, so im not hating on there stuff, jus trying to see where ppls mind sets are at.
i think that is a legitament point.. do you have any dyno sheets or anything that can help gain more interest? I think you will get a better response from people if you can get ahold of that info.

dyno #'s are consistant. check the website it gives you a est on hp. also i mean there gt-28 ball bearing you will hit boost so fast.

question dave does this kit come with "EVERYTHING" needed to install it? besides things like TT, boost gauge, fuel pressure gauges, oil temp . etc. will this kit pretty much come with all things needed to plug and play? or will it require some tuning, piping etc?

and the greddy piggyback fuel system. does it cost extra on top on the kit? says supplied seperately.

I think there is little to no doubt that these turbo kits are good. After all, Accolade is a dealer for RPW...meaning the products they are selling is ultimately still what it is....RPW products. And we all know the guys in Australia know what they're doing when it comes to Lancer performance. So questioning the integrity of how great these products should be no different than asking RPW themselves if it's good, since after all Accolade selling them or eliminating the middleman and getting straight from RPW, it's still RPW: still a backed product. Accolade is doing no more than getting the products and providing it for us in the states.

Now of course since there is a middleman in this, they would get the burn first with questions of price and quality. Accolade yes is not a performance shop perse, but still needs to contact RPW to answer your questions. Again the whole middleman concept. If Accolade can't at this time respond in a timely manner with techy questions and price, which is assumed since they just started selling RPW stuff, then why not contact RPW directly if it's the same product on Accolade's site and same on RPWs site? I'm sure pretty soon Accolade will be up-to-track on all the needed info.

so after all that ... I'm semi-interested. I just want to see figures in dollars. The best price for a GB, then I'll decide.
