Is not one of the worst, is perhaps one of the smallest in the market, I wouldn't neccesarily call it worst. It is actually fitted in many cars: Miata turbo, Mazda MP3, Eclipses 2 gen and is highly in use for many aftermarket aplications for the Mazda miatas.

Keep in mind this turbo kit is the perfect choice for N/A cars that can't boost much but need superfast spool up.

A great choice in my opinion for a lancer(not the Evo)

So this would be a good way to start out? I've heard not to boost it too much without upgrading my fuel pump, and more. What would be the next great thing to upgrade???

Moved to correct forum.

Your link doesn't work, BTW. It's too long to do a straight cut&paste job.

according to the beginning of the link, you've got the Turbo-Kit.com kit, expect issues when installing the kit.

You may need to get a custom downpipe with that kit. OTher than that you might want to look into getting a wideband and an Air fuel controller, as well as a walboro fuel pump and injectors. All that can be had for about ~ 600 bucks and you'll be able to run up to 9 psi.

Well... you know... the one where the downpipe has to be extended to reach the exhaust manifold, or stacked with gasket to avoid getting another piece of tube welded onto the downpipe. And if I remember correctly, it's also the kit that doesn't come with any kind of fuel management.

Its a cheap kit, but it also has flaws.

Unlike some other company's kit, that one he just baught isn't "plug and play", it's more a "plug and swear" kinda kit.

The company he baught the kit from even admitted having a hard fitting it on the Lancer(thread is somewhere around here). We do have a few members who fixed the little problems here and there, and they are really enjoying the kit, but that guy can't expect it tu be as easy as other kits to install.

It's cheap, it does what it needs to do, but it needs some thinkering.

Hey Guys,

He bought the TSI non intercooled kit, however it is missing some stuff since he bought it from another dude. I've already warned him of the fun times with TSI kits, not like the RRM bolt on affair hehe.

Dave, if you decide to keep it and make it work more power to you! And so begins the journey...

Still like everyone says though, RRM = pricey, but worth every penny if you want to bolt on and go

Why do you hate the T-25 so bad? If you are running the Non-IC kit you arent pushing anywhere near the limits of the turbo. There are plenty of people running the T25 and it pulls hard, early, and strong. Its fine unless you want to start getting above 225-250hp.
