yeah my frinds,friend has an 06 STi. we were just racing (on a "track") and messing around with 3 other RAs and some other cars. well thinking my Lancer would not stand a chance aginst the STi i was like fu(k it lets do it from a roll cause i know a lunch would be dumb.....so we decied to do a 1st gear roll.






well we did the 1st gear roll and we stayed side by side all the way till i shifted to 4th he jumped up a little and then was at his front door/fender half-way though 4th then we shut it down....damn...he was impressed!

Turbo Lancer is the only way to go!!! stg2 hopefully coming soon!

but i am a witness to this, i was out there.

 

also i had my tyres at 42PSI!!! and for some reason my car would bog when i shifted to 2nd....but none the less I was neck and neck with an 06STi (and yes he is a good driver)

 

maybe he shifted b4 the boost. i had a wrx and walked the RA when it was completely stock. not sure about that guy being a good driver though.

 

no the sti is a very skilled driver and is pushing stock boost.

 

maybe the car he has is a lemon

also when the modded RA raced the STi from a 1st gear roll the STi left the RA by 4 cars....

Your car was probably bogging due to too much or too little fuel. Can you monitor and/or log AFR's?

 

yeah i have a wideband.....and it only bogs when i shift to 2nd from a launch....prboly cuase im not pushing 1st hard enough or i just suck at shifting to 2nd from launch ( i dont really bog when doin it from a roll though)....but it is running slighly lean(like 12.9-13.5)....but i got EGT to watch temps and its staying good around 800c.....i do have 68,000 miles on the car....ima bout to go bigger injectors and some kind of EM though.
