comprssor bypass valve

i read the article that road race posted about the difference between a compressor bypass valve and a blow off valve does anyone actually have the problem of the fuel being rich because the blow off valve actually lets the air out so the engine thinks there is more air coming in? so would that make blow off valves all show?

just say no. seriously. and search. it has most definitely been flamed here before (and I mean that in the nicest way possible). You're just asking for problems when you use one of those

edit: original question was concerning electric turbo

You are talking about venting to atmosphere as opposed to having a hose comming from your blow off valve running back to your intake. When your bov is between the intake manifold and the airflow sensor the computer is thinking that there is more air comming in, but the bov is letting some out after your computer thinks its taking in more air than it really is. So thats why you would run rich. If you just place the bov before the air sensor you wont have this problem.

He changed it after he posted it originally. EVOM doesn't let you edit the title of your own thread....
