Recommend a blow off valve ?

IF so which one ?

IF not Why not ?

since intake does bring out turbo somewhat ? Can you see a dramatic difference with a blow off valve because ive never had one.

The plastic evo 8 bov needs to be replaced if running higher than stock boost. Some people switch to the metal evo 9 bov. Best bang for the buck. And make sure with any bov, it's recirculated.

On a budget get an Evo 9 bov and crush it. If you want a nice bov I would recommend the TurboSmart dual port since it can be changed to different configurations depending on what your setup is.

Are you looking for the loud release? You'd need to get rid of your maf and go speed density if your infact running a maf. The release of pressurized air on a car with a maf can cause drivability issues.

I would also recommend an evo 9 bov. It is a great blow off valve that when crushed is good up to 30+ psi. Unless you are looking to get a specific sound out of your bov, I would not recommend anything other than a stock crushed evo 9 on a MAF setup.

Hks ssqv is what I've been using for about 20 years on my viii and it rarely stalls with open air venting ..the car will eventually learn the off cycle and since the hks works opposite of other valves it doesn't ride open at idle

Been using a modified stock BOV for at least 15 years, for 28-30psi BB full/GSC S3/ twin pump methanol. Modification consists of a solenoid controlled through the IC spray map. It vacates head pressure on the BOV diaphragm at high boost so that it holds duct pressure. It works😉

Sounds like an old DSM trick or the 1g bov, the dodge garage mod.

I agree with you there, they are local to me and I always try to use local stuff on my builds. I do like the go fast bits bov. I have one in my stealth and it fits perfectly and is tunable which is nice. They make a nice a nice sound when blowing off kinda like the Tials. If I weren't using Tial I would definitely use gfb stuff.
