ok, the turbo i'm looking at now is one off a stock 05 evo. this one... http://www.dsmtuners.com/parts/produ...c9fe427d7639e6
it has no BOV, manifold, intake, piping, but i'd need all that new anyway so..
anyone have an idea of what a good price for this is?

It's gonna require a lot of custom work, which could be expensive.

I know someone selling that same one off of a 05 evo for about 400 bucks, if you want, i'll give you his info and you can contact him. I was thinking of buying it too, but all that custom work could be a pain in the butt. he's in FLorida, let me know

I'm really surprised no one has brought this thread up yet.

This is aznflip's custom turbo thread he started outlining what he did turboing his car using a stock EVO 8 turbo. He spent less than $1800 for the whole kit. Check it out

let me ask this... would i still need to get headers if i put a turbo and a turbo manifold...

Would the T-manifold have to be custom like the on in that guys thread?

No you wouldn't need a header since the turbo manifold takes the place of it. You can get a custom one made or you can buy one already made specifically for our car: $339 + shipping : http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...man-mitsu.html

okay, but will a 16G turbo fit on that manifold, cause it clearly states it'll only fit t25 and t28.
and reading the thread, which is old, states that he had one fabricated.

He didn't have one fabricated. He purchased a manifold for an EVO on ebay and bought the head flange for the Lancer. He took both to a shop and had the EVO flange cut off and the Lancer flange welded on. So it an EVO manifold with a Lancer flange.

why did he have to go with a lancer flange? Is there some way around that to where you can use an EVO manifold and flange or would that be next to impossible?

the lancer and evo don't share the same engine. the actual front block is a bit bigger than our lancers. so a lancer turbo mani just doesn't align perfectly for the bolts. SUCKS!
