Vac Lines

Well this really isn't a "problem" per se because the car has run fine since the day i bought it. But just before i went turbo i installed a boost gauge and in an attempt to see what kind of Vaccum source would be the best i discovered that the only vac line in the engine bay that gives me any kind of readings on my boost gauge is the line from the FPR to the Intake Manifold. Is this normal? The lines on the top of the throttle body give nothing, as do multiple other lines around the IM.

The only way you get a vacuum signal is off the intake manifold. There is little to no vacuum at the throttle body. There is between the throttle body and intake manifold.

There is a line that makes a u shape if you go from the TB and go left a lil bit towards the passenger side. Its right after the the big gold thing on the manifold on the front. Cut that line and put two T-splice in or so. I have my boost gauge and BOV hook up from there.
