What you're looking for are "pinouts" just FYI. May help your searching if you look for "pinout," "pinouts," or "pinout diagram."

i understand that there is a HOW TO thread for the safc, but that if for a different year and different model. i have already looked at my connectors for the ecu and only half match up and i just want to be sure. because there can be a lot to change in one model year.

I believe it's the same exact thing. I just recently installed a narrowband gauge on my car and the ecu pics in the thread you're talkinga bout indicate it's for a 5 speed. Keep in mind I have an auto 02 oz. If you run an extensive search you will come up w/ answers....

The manual has 2 row of connections and the Auto has 3 rows of connection. I had a hard time, but I did figure it out.

ECU pins should be the same for both 02-03. They will most likely change for 04 and up.

( go by color, not by pins. )

yeah because there is the colors on there but its either one or 2 pins off of where it says it is suppose to be in the thread. cause i have a 5 speed, 03 es. and i believe its for a 02 oz, i think im not 100% sure. cause in the thread there is 4 connectors and my car also has 4. idk yet, i think i well do some more research cause im still a little bit nervous to start cutting and soldering.

if you have an 03 manual the ECU is the exact same for the OZ, LS, and ES. Same 4 plug 2 row diagram. They didnt change until 04, if they even did at all. The only difference would be between manual and automatic. If you have a different setup you would be the first
