parts for turbo
Hey guys, I have the RRM kit for my whip but i'm missing a few necessary parts to make it completely work.
This is what I need below. I wanna outsource the parts elsewhere but not get killed in pricing. I just got quoted from RRM, which i will not disclose. I wanna compare and see if there would be any difference in pricing.
Electric Fan and mounting Components
Dump-pipe for Wastegate
3/8 NPT fitting for oil supply line to oil pan
AN fitting from oil supply line to turbo
AN fitting from turbo to oil return line
3/8 NPT fitting for oil return line to oil pan
Oil Return line ( heavy duty rubber)
Oil Return line heat protectant jacket
Coolant relocation kit for Auto.
For all that actually have the kits.... just need all the fittings and for the oil lines and cooling lines. everything else is complete.
Help me out guys, I wanna install this sh_t already.

I'll add the websites I purchased my stuff from and the price shipped:
11" Push Slim Electric Fan and mounting Components - www.jaycorptech.com - $71.88 For mounting, you just need some zipties.
Dump-pipe for Wastegate - Flange from http://roadraceengineering.com/flangesandgaskets.htm - $10 + shipping and just a 2" section of pipe welded on
3/8 NPT fitting for oil supply line to oil pan - local harware store
AN fitting from oil supply line to turbo - local harware store
AN fitting from turbo to oil return line - local harware store
3/8 NPT fitting for oil return line to oil pan - local harware store
Oil Return line ( heavy duty rubber) - local auto parts store, $1.05/foot
Oil Return line heat protectant jacket - local auto parts store
Coolant relocation kit for Auto - not sure about that
I needed two brass fittings for the oil return line (where it goes into the oil pan) and the dump tube (didn't know I could get it made for cheap) for my install. So I bought it all from RRM. For 3 day shipping UPS, and these three items I paid $70!
Needless to say, you can get all of them for much cheaper else where.
For the fittings you can try a search on google for places like http://www.plumbingworld.com/brasshosefittings.html. Hope this helps some!

HMM I thought so... when you said you paid 70 dollars I was like, now it makes sense. Yea, I'm definitely gonna go ahead and look some stuff up w/ your links. And then head out to a hardware/plumbing store and get my pieces.
What size are the AN fittings?
And what diameter should the Oil return line be from the turbo?

Just like I told you in the other thread... Credit Card. Now i'm gonna do a balance transfer so I don't have to pay any interest. And it should be paid off pretty quick.\\
I was gonna get it brand new, but think about it, back when i got it it was at 4 and change, plus stage 2 upgrades on top of that. Comes out to a little close to 6 grand? and come to see a few months later they're practically giving one away for 3 and change brand new. Either way I came out winning getting it used. But then again, I'm missing a few desired pieces.

Heres the info needed.....
Electric Fan and mounting Components - Any local auto parts store has it. I got mine from Pep boys for 70 bucks. Just ask for a 10" aftermarket slim fan, it should come with mounting stuff. I just used the foam pads and pushed the little zip tie things through the radiator, holds fine, just make sure you wire it up to push air through.
Dump-pipe for Wastegate - Pick up a flange off ebay or whatever, and then just bring it to a shop to have a couple inches of pipe welded in
3/8 NPT fitting for oil return line to oil pan - Go to a local auto parts store and look for 3/8"NPT to 5/8 hose barb
AN fitting from oil supply line to turbo - Get em online, purchase all the fittings from the same place to combine shipping
AN fitting from turbo to oil return line - If ur using a T series turbo (T25/T28) search ebay for a oil drain flange with a 5/8 Hose barb fitting
Oil Return line ( heavy duty rubber) - Coolant hose works fine, its what im' using. Go to local auto parts store and pick up a length of 5/8 Heater core line, you can get braided if you want but its not 100 percent necessary. mine is just straight up and i've had no problems with the drain yet
Oil Return line heat protectant jacket - not necessarily needed, but if you want it, just buy the 5/8 braided hose
