A bad thing to see in your engine bay
i see my engine bay in this thread!
but really, dave, you would be better off patching that sucker up. I'm gonna try to make it home in the next week, we'll have to meet up and i'll take a look at that. If time works on my side, i may be able to get that welded very nicely for you.

that would be sweet if you could take a look at it...

JB Weld and a plastic cap. And you can wiggle it.
Discuss.

PS - I told you, Dave. Sorry.

I approve only because of the color.

Dave needs you to do some custom work on his kit. You're the man.

ya so i knocked off all the jb weld from the opening where the pipe was "attached" and put this welded fitting that goes in the hole that has a tube end on it so i could connect the breather to the intake (ill try to post some pics)... sounded like a good idea... so I did it...
then i started it up this morning and headed into work... it was cold, so like most people, I was looking at the temperature gauge to get to the middle so that I could turn on the heat and heat would come out, but all of a sudden the needle started climbing past the midpoint all the way to high
so i turned the car off and coasted into a gas station and took off the hose and started it back up and there was no problems.
guess I was sucking the hot air coming out of the breather back into the turbo to heat it back up and then the cycle would continue til my engine heated way up!
Moral of the Project:
DON'T CONNECT THE BREATHER TO THE INTAKE!!

The odd thing is that the breather is connected to the intake when the car is stock. Makes no sense!

Then again, your car is like the mega-Frankenstein build, so I guess I'm not surprised...
