Upgrade Pistons and Rods.

 

The rods and pistons don't necessarly need to be upgraded. At least thats what I was told, I think by RRM when I called them awhile back. Of course if you plan on running higher then 7 psi, you might. Don't quote me on this, but I am sure somebody will

 

Oh, how we miss the intent of the question.

He wanted to know what N/A mods he could keep if he went turbo. So I think the "bigger intercooler" was a bad answer...

Rods and pistons should be upgraded if you're smart. Yeah, you don't have to, but isn't a little bit of insurance nice to have?

Read the above link this could help you as well. I know its for a 4G93 but it is relevant to the 4G94 engine as well.
