Litle update

Well i finally got the car dynotuned yesterday by Jestr Tuning at Stage 6 in jacksonville, very good results, 221whp and 245ish torque, i was told it is a low reading dyno and its more like 240 - 250 whp, but whatever it is, its still a 50 whp gain from my last run on the same dyno 175whp 178trq.

Mods done since then were .5 compression raise to 10:1 and raised psi from 7 to 10, very happy and proud of it.

The guys from Jestr tuning, John and his brother were really cool, i got to actually help out in the car while he was tunning it so i learned some good stuff

Ill post up some vids & pictures later on. Lots of evos there, really cool guys.
Drove down there from GA and it was well worth it, there were 5 of us that went down from here, 2 awd talons, an evo 9, and a wrx, we all got some good numbers so it was a good day for us!

Got a pic of the dyno graph? I'll have basically the same setup so this is good news to me.

RRM 16G intercooled Turbo kit with 5th injector piggiback @ 10psi
Crower Rods & Wiseco 10:1 pistons
Fidanza Lightweight flywheel
RRM Stage 2 clutch
2 1/4 straight exhaust ( will be changing to 3")
Lightweigh pulley ( not really a power adder )

thats all aside from litle stuff like oil catch can, wideband, gauges, etc....

Heres a video http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...13028484597909

and a pic of the dyno sheet, the red lines is from the 2nd run, the blue from the last, all the jumpiness is because i had my spark plugs gapped at 035 when i should be at 025 because of the compression change & boost, i changed them yesterday and it is smooth now

no... im running 10:1 compression, if you want to play it safe then its not a bad idea i guess, ive been running these for about 3 months @ 7psi untuned until now, get the con rods too if you havent, ours are way skinny

Damn this thread gives me hope. You did all the work I thought I'd have to. What plugs are you running and how much tuning was needed?

How much did you pay for Crower connecting rods? Specs?

With my high compression, I would like to put some spray. But definitelly
upgrade the rods first.

got them both off a member on here for a very good price, like i said the rods are crower and the pistons are wiseco, you will have to contact them and inquire about prices, but they do make them, i will try to find the spec sheets im sure i have them somewhere.

i run ngks bkr7e gapped at .025, we were on the dyno for 1 hour, 14 pulls
