Wastegate valve seat

I need to know where the valve seat goes on the wastegate. Is there a site with pics maybe? I read of a lancer who didn't have one on at all and his car ran like ****. I dont want any problems with my custom turbo setup so any help would be great thanks.

heres a pic of the manifold I will be using. Might run into clearance problems with the wastegate and the coolant tube that is beneath the manifold.

In that pic, flip the WG to see the other port and there should a recessed part that the ring will sit into...
