i just wanted to clear up a few rumors floating around the internet about our kits, they are pre tuned and run a piggy back system, the piggy back COMES TUNED, YOU DONT NEED TO HAVE IT RETUNED. that will save you major dyno time and $1000s. so to say it needs to be retuned for location is untrue. there a few other kits in the market and from the information gathered they would need to be tuned once installed on the car and it seems that the manufactor of the kit has been trying to tune it for over 3 mnths with no avail. to be able to flash the ecu is a great thing, but it is costly and if u want to sell your car there is going to have to reflash the ecu instead of just untooking 5 wires. so there are + and - with both ways.

if you look in this thread there are dyno sheets as well and videos, also we offer the turbo for MAN AND CVT TRANSMISIONS.

Wouldn't you need to tune to get the most out of it though? It's a lot like the Cobb Accessport, it comes prepackaged with a good map but to get the absolute most out of your setup, you need to tune for your altitude and your gas.

it wont need to be tuned, the purpose of the piggy is to work with the stock ecu as well. the stock ecu will compensate for the small changes such as altitude.

Not bad, I'd still do a tune just to be safe but that's cause I'm crazy like that. For the average person I can't see how you could go wrong with the RRM kit. Hell I had an RRM kit for that exact reason.

ANyone that wants one of our kits without fuel management and tuning since it is SO EASY to do yourself, just call me $3599 will get you the kit bits minus management and tuning. HAve fun though. IT is the toughest car to turbo we have ever encountered. Meantime, others want to sell you pipes and stuff. I will do the same. Call and speak to me. PIggyback a long with stock ECU will not need a retune and will work from 0 degrees to 130 degrees and from sea level to the top of the highest peak in North America!!!!! Do be mislead by others.

I know that the internal are the things keeping our car from boosting more, but if someday the internals are released by companies and we can use them to do more power, are we gonna need to change a lot of stuff, ou only put them into our engines and crank up the boost, if yes at about how much is it gonna top out with your kit ?

(Because I wanted to wait until some kind of second stage is released.. but if most of the hardware can be re-used it why not getting it now ?! )

Hey ROCK, what's your guys progress on the turbo for the 09 2.4L?

I know you had mentioned you were starting to work on one back when you finished the 08 2.0L version.

WE have added about 80 WHP a ton or torque and figure that to be around 95 h.p. at the crank!!! THis is all on stock internals. 2.4 is next. We have started on it already

So I think if RRM had some kind of deal with a credit line... I believe EVERYONE would have the turbo kit. haha We all want it, but dont have the whole amount right NOW or would think that saving feels like well never get it and just either give up or wait for the RalliArt
