i'm sure you could keep up with a WRX and beat it, but your not going to beat any sti's or evo's from a stop unless they are comepletely stock and are bad drivers.

it just depends on what mods each of those cars have and if there modded to heck then your ish outta luck.

Don't turbo your car if your looking to try and beat sti's and evo's, because truthfully those aren't the only cars that are fast out in the streets. Turbo your car, because you want a faster car that will make you feel better about your car and no other reason.

Don't turbo your car to keep up with other cars, newer cars keep coming out every year that are faster and faster. It's an endless cycle that just keeps costing you money to try and stay on top of this pathetic game.

i'm in the same boat, but im finally starting to realize, even if I turbo my car, this car isn't the "ONE" for me. I know i'll never be satisfied with this lancer, but hey that's just my opinion.

do what is suitable for you. If you will be happy with that do it, but remeber there is always going to be someone faster no matter what you drive.

From a stop you wouldn't stand a chance, but from a roll you could do it if you had stage 2 with all the supporting mods.

what color evo would u like to beat up on, evo 8 or evo 9?

ha ha u have the perfect car if u want to beat up on evo's, m3's, 335i's almost anything.

but dont race carerra gt's or lambo gallardos, or merces, they are a ting faster than a lancer, aleast from my experiance.

brian....it's simple, you pretty much have a highly modified lancer racing against what stock evo's and bmw's? alot of those dudes were probably bone stock and not even trying to race.

now lets get down and dirty

highly modified lancer vs highly modified evo

don't talk about being an evo beater when you've raced your daddy who probably wanted to make you feel better about all the money you spent on his products.

I guarentee you that any highly modified evo, m3, or sti will crush you, plus they look better hahaha

Highly modified evo, try an evo with a reflash and an exhaust. I could spend 2 grand on my WRX (turboback exhaust and Cobb accessport) and hand any lancer their *** whether it's from a stop (lol could do this stock) or a roll. That's not the point though and shouldn't put people off turboing their car unless the only reason they want to do it is to say they can beat evos, wrxs, stis, etc. If you want a faster lancer, go for it but don't put the bar too high otherwise you'll just be disappointed. Something else to consider is Brian does not represent the average lancer owner, he has several cars and works at RRM meaning he gets parts cheaper and can receive help from a professional shop if something goes wrong.

amby bro i was just giving an example, yes tarzan in a stock lancer could probably beat a highly modified lancer haha

like I said above, turbo your car for one purpose only or else you will defeat the purpose

people shouldnt give examples of beating stock evo's with most likely bad drivers, drivers who weren't even trying to race, or drivers who cut there paycheck stories.

me i'm a type of person if I had known about a guy who spent tons of money on his lancer and knew he was turbo'd, I'd probably let him smoke me just to boost his ego.
