Evo intercooler on 2003 Lancer OZ
Evo intercooler on 2003 Lancer OZ
Okay Okay i'm lazy to look... So I just wanted to post a thread on here to get some quick answers. I have the RRM 16G turbo set up on my 03 lancer and want to change the intake set up. I was wondering if the evo intake and upper intercooler pipe fit on our cars. i've seen some around but not sure how pain in the butt it was to get it to fit. I was thinking of going with Injen intake and upper intercooler pipe..but wanted to be sure before i spend the money on the kit... any help?

. As for the intake pipe, I'm currently using an OBX silicone intake pipe for an Evo on my 16G6 setup. It did take some trimming to fit, however. You might not be able to trim the Injen hard pipes as easy as a silicone intake though.

no thanks.. I have the RRM intercooler pipes...i just want to redo my Intake kinda like the Evo's intake...keep the maf inside the engine bay instead of hanging under the car infront of my driver side tire... Hey lancerrally45 how's the pattery relocation? i wanted to do that, but didn't want to run into voltage issues... any difference?
yes and no
when its colder out the engine tends to not crank as fast, but i havent had a problem yet. and as far as warm days its perfect. i went to advan. and bought a set of jumper cables. it was the longer set, and i used the red wire. i took off the ends and used that as the cable. you can pick up a cheap battery box there as well. no issues for me

cool thank man... well you know attached to the OEM battery terminal there was a small fuse on the positive side... what did you do with that? did you cut it off? or use a different fuse alternative? and i assum you use ground cables from the car chassis to the engine?
