Questions about intercooler piping!

Okay so I have a 2005 Evo 8, going full bolts ons for now and I basically have everything. Just bought an ETS 3.5 inch intercooler. Had some ETS piping used in good condition lined up but that fell through. Someone offered me brand new Turbo xs piping upper and lower for a decent price. Just want to get opinions on whether or not that will work with good flow and fitment. Thanks in advanced !

a pipe is a pipe, there's nothing special about ETS that would make it better than another brand, especially the UICP. Lower will actually make a difference

I would only be concerned about fitment. Some piping is designed to only work with the stock intercooler, or stock style intercoolers with angled inlets and outlets. Double check before buying.

It'll fit because he ran the same setup I believe. Thank you! I sometimes people say the piping is lnt durable and things like that. That's just why I was curious

ETS products are great both in fitment and quality. If you are on a budget, I would look into Muse http://www.vr-speed.com/muse-motorsp...6-evo-8-9.html you can get the whole kit for about $300 brand new
