New Turbo
New Turbo
So I am purchasing the RRM Intercooled turbo kit from Z Lancer Man and I was just wondering what else I will have to get and where it would be best to get it from. This is a list of what is coming from him:
Garrett T-28 Oil/Water Cooled Turbo
RRM Ceramic Coated v.2 Exhaust Header
RRM Up and Down Turbo Pipes
RRM Intercooler
Custom Blue Powder Coated IC Piping with couplers and clamps
K&N Filter and MAF Adapterw/ 5 PSI Spring and dump tube
Walbro 255 LPH Fuel Pump
Vortech 12:1 FMU with fuel lines
Stainless Braided Oil Feed Line with fittings
Oil return line with fittings
2g DSM Blow off valve
All necessary vacuum lines, fittings, and hardware
I would like to be able to monitor the turbo also so I am looking for gauges. Right now I am thinking either the Autometer Autolite's or Greddy's gauges. Also, for the engine management I am looking at finding an e-manage if I find a shop in town that can tune it for me. Maybe a turbo timer, but I don't know yet. Any help on finalizing the turbo kit would be greatly appreciated.

Does it come with the RRM piggyback? If not, you'll need to either get it tuned right away or maybe RRM can sell you just the piggyback for that kit.
I'm going to tow it to get it tuned, but I think I'm going to go with the greddy e-manage, I just need to find a place near me to get it tuned lol.
That probably wouldn't be a good idea. Running someone elses tune is like wearing someone elses underwear... it might not fit and this analogy doesn't really work... nevermind. But yeah, don't use someone elses tune.
