280 HP turbo non-EVO

here's one that claims huge HP gains (280 which is more than the EVO) and says you can keep your A/C, for only $3200 - http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...itsubishi.html

It says 50% more hp.....yet claims 280 out of the box.....

Personally I think it's bull****.....50% more hp from a Lancer is 60 hp or about 180hp at the crank.....160hp at the wheels.

50%

it might be BS. i'm going to ask them if they will guarantee it and the details of how they got those numbers (if there was something else like NOS which contributed to the 280HP).
actually is says "50% + more HP"

The site also says it allows you to go up to 18lbs of boost with a Boost Controller.......So tell me, who wants to try 18lbs of boost on their 4g94?

Someone blew there engine at 9lbs with not pistons......lets see what happens if we double it. Sure you'll have 280hp.....for about 10 seconds. But I guess thats all you need if your Vin Diesel........

sounds like they were hitting the crack pipe while they wrote the numbers for that kit. sounds pretty iffy though. who knows if it really fits. yeah a 4g94 and 4g93 are similar in size and fitiment of parts but there are differences. I would ask them a lot of questions about how things fit and if they have checked them. I don't care what they did...you aren't making 280 without internal mods. price is nice for a turbo kit though.
