Indeed. It does seem like BS. Go with what everyone is saying: stick with RPW or RRM if you wanna go the turbo route.

If you know what you want from your turbo setup, find a good shop and go custom. Chances are it will cost about the same and your turbo setup will be built the way you want it. My $0.02.

Not for the faint of heart or those without another mode of transport though.

for all of you who obviously can't read....

it says 1.8l 4G93,4G93, 4G94....

so what's that mean?

it's designed for either a 1.8l 4g93...

or a "normal" 4g93

or a 2.0l 4g94...

why you guys pass judgement so quickly amazes me.... read before you say anything... and for all of you that DO read, read it again. yeah the kit is probably not going to post numbers like it says it can, but it never did say that was to the wheels now did it? so basically, everyone needs to READ it again. sheesh.

If I didn't already have an rrm header, I would try that kit expecting about 175 HP at my wheels, But I am not about to waste $400. Just gotta get RRM's kit

The 1.6 = 4g92 runs the T20
The 1.8 = 4g93 runs the T25 or the GT25
The 2.0 = 4g94 runs the same setup from above

Garrett Turbos
T20 = smaller turbo than the 2g eclipse TC
T25 = the same as the 2g eclipse TC

As for the eclipse, it looks like the NA version of the rare 1g eclipse models - aka GS model.
T25BB = it's ball bearing and same but a tad different wording as the GT25 = RPW's TC kits.

Using the generalized formula of 1 psi = 10 lbs of boost
On the superior kit if on a G93 is using a T25 = approx 9 lbs
On the extreme kt if on a G93 is using a T25 = approx 14 lbs. At this pt, it's pretty much the limit on the G93 internal rods and pistons. We already have guys who abused their motors at 13-14 psi w/o proper tuning.

Also, a friend of mine just recently visited Barbados. He saw the engine of an Evo 3. He told us it was running a stock 9B TC. Imagine running a 9B turbo on a modern GS-t or GSX. Want to see how small, just search for Evo 3 engine pics. I can't imagine the E1 and 2 TC size.

As for at wheel or not, I couldn't find it on the site. I'll read again.

You should probably read the other few threads on this exact same kit. The 4g94 is a taller engine than the 4g93. The downpipe WILL NOT FIT without modification. The manifold, turbo and wastegage probably will unless there are fan clearance issues, but the intake piping and downpipe definitely will not. At that point why buy a kit if only half of it will fit?
