Help

Here is the deal, there is a scrap yard in toronto, who is holding a liquidation of sorts. They say they have too much product, so for $45 you get to go in and leave with whatever you can carry out. I think this may be an oppurtunity to grab some turbo parts. Can anyone suggest what to grab and from what cars. I am talikng turbo, wastegate, bov, intercoolers. Any help or suggestion would be great.

Try to grab the small intercooler cores from DSM's (3000GT's, Eclipses, etc.) and their turbos. You could make some easy money parting out things like that for someone who's putting together a homebrew for cheap. Look at old Saab's and even some Volvos as well for their turbo bits.

also look into acura/nissan/bmw and high priced cars for their HID components, nice cheap way to get your own!

I had a long *** post last night telling you what to get but I got logged out for inactivity and I'm too lazy to repost. So basically listen to Paul.

Wastegates on every stock turbo car (that I'm aware of) are internal so they'll come with the turbo. May wanna grab the whole manifold too if you can find a good way to carry a lot of em.

damn..thats a freaking deal man.. got for the stock turbos w/ manifolds and piping...if you can find them, get some seats or otehr interior items that appeal to you..you can probably find some air filters, rims, lighting accessories.. but most of all. take every single fuse from everycar. that's what i do atlease haha

grab a T28 off of a volvo, and a manifold off of a DSM, you can make it fit, a freind of mine has a complete DSM turbo kit on his prelude SH. just proof anything is possible. but definatly go for the volvos!and if there is an audi TT in there, they have 2 intercoolers. might want to take advantage of that too.

If you're willing to ship to the US, lemme know what intercoolers you get. I may be in the market.

Alright i am excited now. The scrap yard has a eclipse 4G63T engine that i could pull out for $45, plus pick up rental. Any way that engine could be made to fit our cars without extreme modding??

Extreme is not the word, you need the tranny, computer, wiring, axles, and a good mig welder.
