What do you recommend on cooling fan?

I am going to be installing a turbo as soon as possible on my 02 lancer. i know from looking and reading in this forum that the second fan i beleave the AC fan will have to be removed.so i was wondering what CFM does the stock fan's produce? what CFM and fan are you other turbo guy's running, if you are running one? does anyone know the stock amp(current) draw. i want to try to get a fan as close to stock as possible.

Your t25 turbo is small that it doesn't even need to be removed. I am running a t25 turbo. Your A/C and A/C fan can stay. Thats if you want it.

I have no build thread. My camera was stolen shortly after my install. So i couldn't post up any pictures. My whole build is just that of this turbo kit. A RRM test-pipe and a N1 style 2.5 catback exhaust from ebay. The manifold can be bought from this website >http://www.importperformanceparts.ne...man-mitsu.html

They are the same manifolds that come with the kits that are sold on Turbokits.com and Turbo Specialties

I have the turbo kit manual also.

thank you very much how long have you been boosted? and what type of psi are you running? look's pretty much like the kit im peacing together one step at a time? you remember how much you payed for that? and what does it do for fuel other then the fpr, was the rest up to you to do like pump and tunning?

I guess you can since June 08. I got lets say a very good deal on this turbo kit used. It was probably a miracle. I've been running strong at 7psi daily boost. Sometimes i just stay out of boost. Well you can add 2 injectors to run more gas and of course make more power. I decided to keep it off since gas prices had been going up. I have yet to do a tune for the turbo. Still saving up money and with the holidays rolling up i'll have to do my tune sometime next year. Look into that turbo specialties website it should explain everything with fuel management.

I'm curious about this too. I have some parts I wanted to return to advanced auto but don't have the receipt, so I was just going to swap out for a fan...

Run a pusher in front of the radiator on the passenger side and a puller on the radiator in the engine bay on the driver side instead of the dual stock fan setup. Anything higher than 800-900cfm should be more than adequate for the fans.

Ok I'm just running one on pusher on the passenger side until spring. So would a puller on the driverside work better than a pusher on the radiator?

Both function as well as the other. Since the temps are much colder for a few months you'll be fine. I'm running a small aluminum radiator with a puller fan in the engine bay and see constant 180* temps all day long.
