Downside to buying used Rods?

Hey,
I have a friend that used some Pauter Rods in his OZ and is looking to sell them. If they have like 10,000 miles on them are they worth $200?
Thanks

As long as the rods are straight and don't have any scars in either of the journals you should be good to go. New bearings are a must. Also, with the Pauter rods the block needs to be notched for clearance.
