Well it should still idle... There really isn't much change when you are at idle with stock injectors and the fmu.

k...
i gave him a list of things to change and check last night.
but yes the fmu is hooked up correctly. problem happened with and without the charge pipes hooked up, and also without the fmu hooked up also, and hes still using the stock injectors... so its kinda weird, makes me think it might be the fuel pump, or maybe a serious issue with the motor.

one thing i didnt tell him to check is the direction of the maf.. not sure if that would screw it up like that and cause the motor to loop up to 3500rpms....

It looks like you have a vacuum leak. Ive circled a peice in green thats part of the vacuum rail, there should be a hose on that going to an inlet on the IM near the TB if I'm not mistaken. Thats more than likely your issue..

Here is a pic of a stock g93 IM, you can see the fitting you need to have the hose connected to from the Vacuum Rail..

That's what I was thinking as well. He said he never had anything connected there though...

I think that is the vacuum line that if you disconnect it the car will die if not plugged.

Thanks for the advice guys, but before I turbo'd I had the piece disconnected for a little bit and it ran fine then I Td it to the hose that goes from the Valve Cover to the Manifold..
Lusion I'm sure I bought that Intake Mani from you over at MirageForums. lol

So I triple checked everything and guess what I stumbled upon...?
My injectors were sitting a little high and I guess weren't putting enough fuel into the engine. So what I did was reconnect everything back there and now I'm inside typing this post because I'm paranoid about cranking it over again.

Time to find the install instructions to my dtt and then maybe I'll try and start it a little later.
If it still does it then I'm parting it out!

You did get that IM from me. Are you sure you dont want to connect that fitting? I had an issue before just like that, but mines was on a different Manifold so I had a serious vacuum leak. You can even hear it. All I can say is try plugging up that fitting on the IM and see if that does anything.

On a side not, when I installed my bigger injectors on my setup my injectors sat at an angle and cause a vacuum leak there. I had to notch the fuel rail to allow the injectors to sit evenly. Check that out also.. Here are some pics of how my injectors initial sat..

That's the harness I have for it and I can't plug it in. Plus all the how to's on this forum suck and have no pics.

Good news and bad news guys!

First is the good news... Well I found the problem.
Bad news... It runs like a monster! Now all my money is going into it to keep it running. Now time to drill holes into the bumper so I can ziptie it in because I hate it when bolts rust.

Thanks for your help everyone! I finally took my first dump and it feels great!
