Lightbulb Package Lancer Turbo kit from Evo

So I'm pulling so many stock parts off my Evo I have a bunch of them laying around. I was thinking to sell them seperately but maybe it would be easier to sell just a package. What would you guys need off the Evo for a kit to work on your cars?

Turbo
Intercooler
Injectors
I.C. piping
Stock intake? and MAF sensor?
Stock down pipe and CAT?

How much will actually work and whats actually needed?

Also has anyone actually had the RA injectors flow tested to know what they are?

Im going to copy little snippets so you an get an idea of what's going on, the thread is too long and it won't let me link it here for some reason.








Redsun727:they dyno it i was running 5psi with 212 hp to the wheels im aiming for 12 psi but i need bigger injector and fuel pump.

-intake was custom
-we did all the run on D mode
-i am running 6psi and will go up to 8 psi in 3 week after my custom turbo back exhaust is made and late will be running 12psi with boost contoller and wide ban
-soo my car die out on me last night
-i was racing with my uncle s200 stock i pull on him ;] after the race we head home then it just die out on 275 end up having it tow home then to the shop
-i was in 6th gear doing about 65 or 67mph after i heard bov then car just slow down and when i give it gas > no response so i have to pull over to get it tow
-got a call from the shop today and look like i have blown my piston, i guess i now a good time to do the internal too
-mabe 4 or 5g to get the internal done, no nothing to do with the tune im sure. mabe i beat on it too much when i first got it
-anyway got the car tow home from the shop today anyone know where i could get this or what it call?? ( i belive it chain guide in the motor ) correct me if im wrong.

-im planning on ordering this in a few days does any one know it have the same head?

--getting a whole new engine block from ams
-new motor

-i got a bran new lancer motor to get my car running again, then start building on my old motor
-i didnt get from from the dealer found some one that's doing a swap with the evo x on their lancer and got it for $800 + shipping and the motor only got 7k on it
-i just put the new motor in the car to get my car back up and runnning again after im done building my old motor but it back in my car and build the other one too but build it different from the first one.

And that's where the story is for now, he's waiting to get it tuned and he says he'll take it easy this time.

he's really going to build the motor and try and run a dom II? And he's CVT? And with what other supporting mods?

This guy is really digging himself into something deep here!

yea im not sure the CVT will be able to handle, he said he wanted to try a transmission swap but.......... super $$$$

I agree. Everyone on that forum already told him he's surpassed the RalliArt price range, and now he's nearing Evo territory with none of the reliability. But like he says it's his $$$, so we'll just sit back and watch the show. At least we'll see how far the CVT can go before it fails, and there is someone willing to push it to/beyond it's limits.

i been keeping an eye on this build since it started and at first i was on board but now its getting to be to much money and well he could of bought the rrm turbo cheaper then what he already paid for all the stuff hes done and hes not even done yet i admire him for doing it and glad to see someone push the cvt as far as it can go but idk i would of just called it a day and put that stock engine in and sold the RA turbo and stuff my opinion though but like everyone else is saying im just gonna sit back and wait to see what happens!

I pieced together a custom kit for my 03OZ, and i've started toying with the idea of the same for my 09GTS.

Question though........the old OZ (and the RRM turbo kit) used an FMU to control fuel delivery under boost. Why arent people using the same method for the newer lancers? Is it because people are getting boost happy and want to go over 6psi? Up to around 6psi there should be no problem with a 12:1 FMU. I know its not the "IDEAL" method for fuel delivery, but it gets the job done, safely. I never had any issues with my OZ in terms of my AFR's. It may not have run perfectly tuned for max power, but it ran solid, strong, and never lean.
