4g93 IM with Turbo

i know there are a few guys running the 4g93 IM from the mirages out there who are turboed as well. have you seen any gains etc? found one cheap and was wondering if its worth my money to do. i already have the rrm 4g94 ported im and tb on my car now, so just wondering if its that different or save my money and do something else to the car.

Well. (slightly off topic)
if u look into the design of the intake manifold. it has much shorter runners and the plenum is about the same size. it would help in the mid and low rpm for maybe a little more power..but, any real gains in a turbo car? not likely much or anything really noticeable, but i think your talking about a small.. 1-2% difference in power if that, nothing noticeable.

JRR check your pm.

Save your money dude.
I had both manifolds ported and I would prefer the g94 since it looks like the plenum is designed to create some type of vortex flow which helps atomize the fuel.
The g93 runners are tiny but shorter. The g94 runners are a bit longer but much wider.
Personally the g94 has a much better design.

I did the swap a while back N/A here are the results. Stock 4g93 just opened up the TB inlet. Vs a stock 4g94 if you have a ported I wouldn’t swap it. https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/la...e-results.html I would just make or buy a custom sheet metal one.

the only reason i can think of if you want to get this is for a better engine sound. some say it sounds like a v6 or subie during wot. =)

+1 Not so much like a subie lol but a lot deeper and GROWLY sound. I dunno if its cuz of the mani porting or the 59mm tb or the intake or the catback or the headers or etc, etc, ect but I "felt" a difference in mid range and top end with the 4g93 versus the 4g94 mani back when I was NA...

Oops I wasn't paying attention, do you know any one that has any footage of a lancer with a twin throttle body intake manifold?
