it will fit, you just have to bend that small metal brace that runs across the car..

I was thinking about cutting part of the exaust and welding a matching bracket to it the down pipe will connect to the exhaust. Then I have to figure a way to make a support bracket to connect to the rubber hangings.

Or what do you suggest i do

Why are you wanting an Evo downpipe? It may be easier to buy a 4G94 flange off of Ebay and have someone custom make a downpipe using it.

can you tell me how did you connect it on? did you have to remove that exhaust holder? Or how would you do this in my circumstance, because I placed the downpipe next to it and it looks long?

Exhaust will never work if ur trying to match up an evo dp toa lancer exhaust.. something will have to be modified to make it work..

my suggestion would be to get a:
an evo 3inch downpipe off ebay, cheapest u can find.. (and not that OEM downpipe)
and get
a 2.5 or 3 inch 2 bolt flange to bolt up to it

then u have a local exhaust shop connect it up to ur system. they would use the flange u give them and connect it to ur exhaust or make u a whole custom exhaust..

My first exhaust setup, cost me 100$, and all i had was a magnaflow muffler, and they ran all the piping for me and connected it to my downpipe for me. (wasnt epm, was just a random local mom/pop exhaust shop)

Ok I just said screw it so I took it to an exhaust shop and they want to charge me 298. but that includes the high flow cat they will install. Should I do it or just install the test pipe and hope I don't get caught by the cops?
