seeing as there is a picture with the hood closed then I'm going to guess the hood will clear the turbo.....

In a highway roll-on MAYBE. I think you are going to have one hell of a time finding traction in that car. What whp levels are expected from this current setup? Are you running any type of LSD?

I don't see any issues arrising that anyone else with a FWD setup doesnt have to overcome, this isnt for the street at all. and it has all the parts i want on it and the right size slicks for where my powerband will be.

Might just be the angle of the pictures but how the heck do you plan to route the intake intercooler piping??? Looks like you've got next to no clearance between the runner of the exh mani and the turbo inlet for piping.

EDIT: I also just noticed that you cut the front rad support out to fit that wastegate in there. Will the hood even close securely? I seriously hope this car doesn't do anything but go straight anymore for the sake of your safety. Does this car have a cage?

good eye
gotta think outside the box my man.. actually, the turbo isnt even clocked the right direction in the pictures. its all been covered and thought about. def isnt your average setup, takes a little more innovation when your building for specific specs and not trying to conform around the car.

It isnt for the street, and is trailered, and also will not be able to run without proper safety equipment for the speeds n times it makes(per track/safety rules)

ditto on the "legit" .. as of right this second i dont even care what kinda number it makes.. im just so happy to finally have her to work on again(best part will drivin it after all my hard work). my life has been upside down without something to focus on in my down time.

Today was painting day.. (engine bay, Durrr) umm.. but weather hasnt been agreeing with me, so i had to stop, not having the car inside a garage sucks! weather is killin me.. ill finish tomorrow i guess.. got 2/3rds of the way done...

Picken the motor up from machine shop thursday(or friday).. and were haven an install party at my place friday and saturday.. hopefully we will finish the interrior and ill drop the built motor in also.. Current goals are to have it finished and running july 10th or sooner, dont see why i cant do that, i have everything but a couple gaskets.. only a good weekends worth of work, but work and school take up a ton of my time. (

Ill post a couple pics of the painted engine bay tomrrow(not really much to show.. but whatever. i goofed on one section, but it will be ok

Awesome dude glad its done , it looks sick that is one huge hair dryer ,

I have to mention something though...I pray that using solid aluminum mounts for the roll stoppers front and back being as how I dont see flex piping on the dump or exhaust pipe that will tear that finish plate right off your bumper along with likely screwing up your v-band flanges ,

I also suggest ditching that passenger side mount and modifying a 4g63 setup to fit...

or welding a 1/8" plate underneath the frame channel and running the bolts all the way through,
I ripped the bolts and threads right outta the frame on that mount the actual threaded part is super thin , that advice is strictly from having it happen and my fab experience....

Looks great otherwise bro , hurry up and get finished so we can hear that monster idle

havent had any extra flex issues with the old setup and i dont expect any from the new one.. this is the second setup going out the bumper. there are a few changes that havent been posted yet. but you should be able to see in the final pictures

Im not to excited about hearing it idle.. shouldnt be impressive.. LOL but.. from a roll it should be a little fun to play with.. i love finding people in nice cars(that are on the phone) and pacing them on the throttle.. LOL
