there are a few things to consider before adding a turbo. With the added power will the car be able to stop? Upgrading the brakes would be a thing to consider. How will the car handle? Will the car need a suspension upgrade? I think that adding a turbo is more than just bolting one on... most tuners will tell you to first increase braking ability, then handling and then add power...

Don't quote me on this, but I think I saw Rob say that the Road Race Turbo kit will cost around 2700 with everything you need.

Don't quote Jefffm.

Full kit with intercooler will definitely be more. Not sure yet how much but with all the piping, fuel upgrade, intercooler, external wastegate, etc...

Gonna be a bit more. All the labor that goes into making pipes, brackets and endtanks for intercooler is exxpensive. That is why most of these other kits don't include these parts!!

All turbo kits are running low boost right now. Brakes can't be considered...no one will work with us on them. Aside from that...I'm glad we still have members who think of things other than raw HP. (No, that's not directed at anyone in particular.)

Keep in mind, our turbo lancer at low boost is every bit as fast as a stock 2G turbo Eclipse. As for brakes, good to have them but you don't need big BLING bling kit to improve brakes. pads are the most important upgrade for brakes. Our roadracing cars has big brakes but without the pads they are noting. I'd rather have stock brakes with good pads than big brakes with stock pads!!! Hands down

That was Dave Thomas from RPW's kit for 2700 from Phantom Racing and Vision Imports.

c'mon dude oz rallies have 4wheel disc brakes and r&p stearing they handle pretty darn good. Why spend tons of money on rally brakes and suspension crud just to make it stop fast. You stomp on the brakes and see how fast that little car can stop

does anyone know how how much boost the road/race turbo has? The biggest stage 1 turbo i have found has only 5psi of boost and thats way to little for me.
