So on the highway home from work on the highway a camry pulls up next to me, some newer body style, i laughed and beeped three times... Ok we were rolling at 80MPH and within seconds i was at 120 and he was about 8 car lengths ahead of me by then... I was like WOW WTF?!? did this about three more times, he rolls down the window and starts laughin at me and rolls the window back up. By this time i even start laughing because before we went the first time i reved up and the BOV went off loud, so now im thinking a N/A v6 camry just SMOKED me.. He gets off the same exit as i do, he signals me to pull into the plaza parking lot so i do. we pull up next to eachother and hes like " dude i thought evo's were fast?!" i was like "nah this is a lancer bro" Then he's like, "but i heard the BOV?",me "yeah i know i built a turbo kit for it im at 6 psi and you killed me LOL", him "oh nice, yeah well take a look" i look under the hood and theres a supercharger strapped right onto the v6 camry. i was like WHOA he was like "yeah its a sleepy man hahahah" so in conclusion, i got spanked by a camry but it was a v6 supercharged lol so crazy would have never guessed, but explains why there was like no lag time he just pullled. I was pretty impresssed but so wasnt he about my custom kit. shot the **** about our builds for a bit and then went our separate ways. Crazy night tonight haha figured i would share this so you guys would get a laugh hahahah

I'm still shocked hahahaha total sleeper. All stock looking, he said he was pushing 27 psi. absolutly nuts compared to my 4 cyl custom turbo kit at 6psi lolol

 

I can assure you he was not running 27psi!!! And Im sure a stock v6 camry could still pull your Lancer...

 

yeah but not how it pulled like this, it was insane.. he had a prosport gauge with peak boost and it did infact reach 27 psi on the peak boost. I was shocked. He said he had the motor fully built, and a custom tune, I just could not belive it, i thought it was pretty cool. i asked him why a camry, and he said becuase its a good sleeper car hahah

Hey, he actually was really impressed with my build! he had nothing bad to say about evo's, lancers, or mitsu in general, he was impressed! Dont worry i got his number, ill hit him up when i finish my motor

 

I remember when I had a Lancer and strapped a turbo on it, glad i got beat by a Tundra with a TRD supercharger to knock some sense into me and just buy a EVO, every Lancer owner learns one day to just do it right the next time.

Having a Lancer not pull up next to you but instead stay half a car length back at the red light is always good for laughs.
