Im building motor. I have forged pistons and was wondering what clearance I sohuld go with to run high psi on the 4g94 motor. The suggested clearance is 3 and a half thousandths, but I was wondering if I should go any bigger since I plan to try and turn up the boost on this motor say 18+ psi. thanks

 

if ur sticking to factory compression, factory clearance is fine. i am running 24psi on a stock cam, and now a stage 4 custom cam with no issues.

 

okay, im running factory compression 9.5:1. I should be ok.
