Thinking about putting this on my 2010 GTS.
Two Questions....

2. Will installing this void my factory warrranty?

thanks in advance,

Search is your friend.

1. SRI's are basically just noise makers, it doesn't really matter which one you buy.
2. No.

1. Your saying there is no improvement in horsepower or performance?
2. Thanks.

An intake is a step to better performance. Most the time manufacturers boast unrealistic numbers of 10-20% increase in HP or torque. Thats not gonna happen unless you have a series of mods and a tune. However, they do make a small difference on there own but mostly above 3500rpms. And yes, they make noise too!

if ur still interested check out the takeda sri, i plan on getting this. Its pretty popular on other forums.

Thanks for the input unk.
I checked out the link. I will definitely take a hard look and comparing these as well as checking out what other options are out there.

As it was said above, SRI's by themselves don't really have any hp gains, we're talking 1-5 tops lol. As for gas mileage, I certainly haven't seen any increase after installing my SRI.

CAI are a better option because they'll give you slightly better hp gains and definitely help with gas mileage, but they also cost like twice as much. Are the slight gains worth the extra money? Well personally I didn't think so, it's your money though.

The Takeda SRI is pretty much the cheapo brand for SRI's. Back in the day they were known for throwing CEL's but I'm pretty sure they fixed it so it should be fine now. RRM had the same issue with their new version which I bought is fixed. Injen is probably the best brand, but again it doesn't really matter too much because really they're all just a pipe with a filter on the end that make noise lol.

Thanks Panis.
I appreciate the input. Reading the adds from the manufacturers, you'd think an easily noticeable increase in performance would be expected. I am not interested in making my car louder. I thought the SRI would take it up a notch with regard to punch. Your feedback is much appreciated.
thanks again,
