So just the slave and a new clutch line? Maybe I'll try it in a few weeks and if it works I'll go ahead with the turbo

Small update. I order the KIA slave and I'll install it after the 13th. The FSM sounds like bleeding breaks Which I've done with my mom (she kept pumping the breaks when I told her to slowly press them) LOL I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Another small update........ :/ I just got the KIA slave today and I hope I can put it in this coming weekend. If so, I'll try to take some pics for all those future 04-07 lancers that are looking to turbo I'm still looking for a line to extend to the slave tho. I'm not sure if I can just straighten out my current tube tho?

NOT the same as bleeding brakes. Here is how you bleed a clutch slave cylinder.

Step 1 Open bleeder valve

2 have your helper push the clutch to the floor and hold it there

3 close bleeder valve

4 have them SLOWLY bring the clutch pedal back to its resting position

Then open valve again, push pedal to floor and hold again etc. all while makeing sure res stays full of course.

Another tip especially since its a new slave. Fill the res all the way to the top well above the max it helps to force the fluid down when they are slowly raising there foot up off the pedal. By the time your back down to the max fill line you should be good to go.

So just repeat the steps until theres no air bubbles? If its not too cold and I find another tube/line to extend to the external slave I'll do the install. I got my gauges up but haven't had a chance to see how they run. I'm waiting to get my downpipe back. I had a stud break in half while I took it off. I should be back to stock tomorrow. I'll post a pic of the gauges. They look super nice

for an extension... it should be 3/16" brake line with standard fittings if i remember correctly. so get a 3/16" brake union and a short piece of premade line that you can get at any parts store.

I don't really see a evo in my future so yeah I'm gunna continue to build the lancer unless I some how get a huge raise lol. Its probably gunna take a while to build it to were I'm happy but I enjoy working on my car. I wanted the gauges to look kind of stock (like they go with the car) so I put them where the radio went. They look pretty good.

You can lower the brightness in the back of them with the white nob that came with the gauges, I was able to get mine to match all the other lights and I think I need to buy me a new evo boost gauge since I got mine when they came out and it doesn't show the - in vacuum

Well the evo gauges are just a hair bright but I think they're nearly perfect right there. My gauge cluster and hvac are a little dim i think.

Prosports web page Looks like they have green and white now. They have super nice customer service. I actually broke the first oil pressure sensor ( i had to pay for a second one) but they shipped it super fast Don't over tighten the sensor caps Tighten them by hand and you'll be fine. The boost gauge is reading the right vaccum and the oil pressure is awesome. Haven't hooked up my EGT yet but I'm sure its just as good as the others.
