Injectors <3

im running about 15 psi now and it gets up to about 240 load and 2-3* timing.

my injectors are getting maxed out. they are the 440s

i heard zulu had 650s

and stephen had uncapped 440s to make them 880s

whats the best option?

uncap wrx send them to place here in wa was $100 for cleaning and flow testing.

Witch hunter i think was place it was in my thread. You can mod yourself but if you never had them flow tested its not a bad idea to ensure it's within range so your not lean on 1 cylinder etc.

Kinda obvious, dermal it off and smooth out. Other reason flow test is nice is with uncapping you could get vastly different results and by them testing you know they are all within say 10%

I would give these guys a call. They used to do lancer injectors and they still may on order.
  • Flow rates and set balancing in-house by DeatschWerks
  • Flow balanced to within 1-2% (flow report included)
  • 100% drop-in fitment (no connectors or adapters required)
  • Excellent spray pattern and atomization for excellent idle and tuning
  • Technical assistance and tuning data available via phone or email
  • 12-month comprehensive warranty
They sound a bit more reliable then the other site that was posted and several members on here have used their injectors with great success. Injectors within a 10% range is just not acceptable from that other company. There is also this warning from witch hunter.
Please note that we just remove the diffuser plates and there is no guarantee of how well the injectors will match, as there is no adjusting the flow after they are modified. So be advised... you get what you get. One possible option is that you send in a couple extras and we will modify them all, send you back the closest four and we will the rest. You pay for only four.

I think 10% was just an arbitrary number Ryan put in. It states on the witch hunter site that DIY modding these injectors can result in up to 10% difference. I personally seen the flow numbers on Ryans injectors and they are all within 3-4% of eachother. Not to say deatschworks isn't a great company cause they are. Just that witch hunter also did a great jpb on his injectors imo.

I guarentee you deatschwerks does the same thing. There is no adjustment on the wrx injectors. Its a difusser plate that lowers them to 440. With removing it you dont have a guarentee on the spray pattern. 10% was an arbitrary number. WitchHunter has been around awhile and in his case they are 1day turn around which is why I used them as well. Reason there is no before data is I just had him do the work and clean at same time. No point in testing before as the difference would have been nearly double.
