I have been having this issue for a little while now and I have not been able to find a fix for this. I have taken out my taillights and when I reinstalled them they did not sit flush with the car. I have just gotten aftermarket taillights this Christmas and they do the same things as well. The back corner of the lights stick out and I was wondering if there is a way to install them that will not make them stick out. Ill take pictures if you would like to see. Just let me know.

Wrong forum, you obviously have them installed wrong if they are sticking out past the body lines. Take them out and reinstall

Probably in lancer general.

But as far as your problem there should be a ball socket on the end of the tail light. It may never fit perfectly. You may have to take the ball from the stock one and put it on the aftermarket one's.

 

Okay. Ill go post there. And my stock taillight did the same thing.

 

if you're talking about the lower corner of the tail light that wraps around the body, mine did that too. i swapped out the oem lights for a set of RRM lights and that little corner still stuck out a bit. Its not a big deal to me
