You don't have any info on what car you drive, but you posted this in US Lancer FI tech, so...

I'm guessing you're either adventurous or don't know what you're getting yourself into, and either way didn't bother to look before posting. The Lancer runs a high impedence saturated injector. The DSM's run low impedence peak/hold type injectors. The two are not directly swappable. Aside from it being doubtful that the clips would fit and that the injectors would fit the fuel rail, they wouldn't fire properly (if at all) anyway. Assuming they fit in the first place (and I'm not sure they do), you ECU will have problems firing them.

HobieKopek,

I'm running a turbo charged LANCER somewhere in the far east and have been boosting it for 10 months now. A friend and I have designed the system and I am running 390cc peak and hold injectors right now from a Lancer GSR.

I might not be in the US, but I do need some help. I just can't find the part number for these 450cc injectors so I thought I might ask here.

The clips have to be sourced from older lancers as the new lancers have rounded clips and smaller clips.

THe 390cc injector also is a few cm's longer than the stock 210 injectors of a lancer. 4G92 sohc engine.

The ECU will not have any problems if you KNOW WHAT YOUR ARE DOING.

Cheers!

No, I'm right here.

You're not driving a US Lancer are you? 4g94 equipped 16v 2.0l SOHC? Unless you've got an interesting fuel computer or have a thing for resistor packs there's no way you're running low impedence injectors on a high impedence car. The only fix is wiring resistors, but why you would pick 450cc DSM injectors and a bandaid fix when stock WRX 440cc injectors are high impedence and basically the same flow rate is beyond me. You should only need O-rings.

Again, I'm still unclear on what car you're driving here. From your last post it seems like you're running a non-US spec car which is what prompted my response.

By the way, what year/gen eclipse are the injectors you're looking for on?

Thanks, Hobie...

I'm driving a Japan Spec Lancer, 1.6 Liter, 4G92 SOHC Engine.

I need the 450cc DSM Injectors which came from the GALANT VR4 because it is hard to source other injectors in our area.

I'm also looking into the 440cc injectors of a 7MGTE, but need to get the right clips for it.

A-HA! Ok, that's really gonna change things I think because I've never seen your fuel rail/intake manifold and i dunno exactly how it's laid out.

I don't know if I can find a part number, but I know that I can help get you hooked up with a seller in the US (if you're interested). Just lemme know.

440's off of a 7MGTE is should be pretty damn easy to find...look on ebay or go to Supramania.com or Supraforums.com and ask there...i wouldve given you the ones i had but gave em to a friend about a month ago.

If you are refering to a 91-92 VR4, it is equipped with the same engine found in a 90-91 and some 92 eclipses, the injectors are exactly the same. As for 92+ eclipses I can actually say what size injectors are, but I do believe the are 450's also. I can get you pictures of mine, is it the clips you are wondering about?
