Will the turbosmart BOV w/ dual port works in the aftermarket turbo? I'm planning to install a turbo in my CVT but i read in other forums that BOV w/ recirculation is great for cars w/ MAF.

I didn't fit a BOV so not sure how they would work with the MAF etc.

Here is a picture.
Just curious why the turbo couldn't be faced the other way? Seems routing the intake piping over the hot turbo would be counter productive. Also I don't even see the compressor outlet pipe, is that routed under the car to the front mount intercooler?

You'll have to get us a dyno plot or 1/4 mile time slip at some point!

I dont have any times or dyno plots, the owner of the car didn't get any. All I know is it was quicker than his mates ralliart when they had a race.

The turbo is mouted that way to make the compressor to intercooler plumbing neater and to match up to the exhaust better.

Yeah lining up the exhaust and compressor outlet better makes sense, still it probably wouldn't hurt to have some heat reflective material on the intake pipe then.

I agree a heat shield would help, but it is not an all out HP machine. it only runs 5psi as we want to protect the CVT.

Speaking of CVT, it's really the only thing holding me back from turbocharging my Outlander Sport. I have all the goodies from an Evo X that I could easily get somewhere around 10-15 psi tuned on the engine but we need a stronger CVT belt before anything aggressive like that is dialed in.

Hiboost, I haven't heard any news on the CVT belt. Are they still working on it or just pushing our buttons???

Just something I read about but not sure how far that has gotten. If RRM wants to sell more turbo kits, you would think it would make sense to pursue.
